This company was bought our by Shure which then continued the mic series as KSM313
I am the original owner of this mic. Note that this is not the Roswellite version. The Roswellite version can be placed directly in front of kick drums. This one should be back a few feet, but it is plenty of string enough to go in front of most sound sources, including a blasting amp cab, screamer vocals, acoustic guitar, etc.
