Oh yeah, that is the amp and it is amazing. I didn't realize Naked Dave went under. That sucks, there was always cool things happening there. John is a monster player, he was with Flotsam recently on a tour.

Anybody who snags this amp is going to love the lead tones, very creamy & inspiring!
 
not to derail your thread, but it throws up a question
it is generally thought that the REH sounds came from the purple Plexi as it is powered up in the background
how is it you are able to say with conviction that the Engl was the amp in use?
 
Very cool amp and Mark is a good dude. I remember talking to Mark Cameron about it and he told me the Engl Straight was used for several big albums, can't remember who he told me recorded with them.
