Malfunction? [SOLVED]

Hi and thanx for a nice product allowing me to record my hot-rodded Marshall JVM in my appartment!

Yesterday when I was playing I heard a strange sound from my Torpedo Live. It sounded as there was a small broken speaker in the rack?!? Strange! Something is absolutely wrong with it, so my question is what?!?

Dear Eric,

there is no speaker in the Torpedo Live.

What you hear is a coil we use to simulate a speaker impedance (well, a part of it). This is perfectly normal, the more power and distortion you have on the amp signal, the more you will hear the sound.

I know Two-Notes already answered your question, but I have a Weber that does the same thing when I push my amp fairly loud. It's probably safe to say that it's normal for this type of load. Then again, I'm fairly inexperienced...

Actually the Weber embed some components of a speaker. And the noise in the Live is almost nothing compared to the Weber.
