Torpedo Live and Amps Effects Loop

Is there any reason why you would place effects in an amp's FX loop and after the Torpedo as described here: http://support.two-notes.com/knowledgeb ... rticle=217 and not just connect effects traditionally in an amps effects loop, bypassing the torpedo all together effects-wise?

It would basically make it the same as adding an effect in post, for example reverb or Delay. But in this situation you would be doing it in real time as you see fit, instead of after the fact in the DAW. A good example would be adding some Delay that required you to tap the tempo.

Ahh Gotcha. As for using it live, direct to FOH(90% of the time in my case) it would be more or less the same result?

Stereo and cleaner tone are what you can expect by having the FX afterwards, but it's never mandatory to do so, and you can prefer the "classic" FX loop setup. Try both if you can.
