Martian sound!

I wonder how the Martians record on Mars with no atmoshere? The Martians must use a contact transducer like a piezo, oui?

Great news Sylvain, looking forward to the new cabs, merci!

Registered just to say:
Thank you!

Love CalifOver — great all-round cab, works well with clean/crunch/higain on mesa-like AND british-like amps.
Love TangerBlak — to me it's the best match for the Rockverb amp.
Love VoiceT60 — just love, it's irrational :)

Hi everybody,
I'm really sorry for the mishaps. Our second batch of capture will be finally available very very soon.

Two notes have change the protocol to upload and validate captures... and I we are very very busy at the studio...
So it took more time than expected... We are truly sorry :(

But there's two very good news: :D
-Now our new captures will be available very quickly
-I have tried this second batch and this captures are... awesome!!!!!

There will many things to report...
I'm really happy about small condensers diaphgramm (Shoeps Mk5 and Shure km141).
It open Two Notes sounds to new possibilities which are very interesting. Omni and cardioid modes was a very good choice IMHO.
Hysteris, room, stereo, filter response... There's many application... :-)
Beyerdynamic M380 have f,;:*£%¨huge bass response !!!!!!!!!
Super CTS, Mars40 and Deluxe are very plaisant.
It will be long but it's really cool.

Hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do!

New captures are online except BritGreen2 due to audios issues that we have to fix.
You should try Deluxe, SuperBlue, Mars40 or Silver10 2 in La Boutique.
We are very proud of it! :D

Hi Sylvain, the new captures are magnifique!

I picked up the Super, Mars (interesting vintage sound indeed!), the Princeton #2, and the little Orange cab, so thank you to all at Le Mirador for the hard work!

I'm enjoying the room tone options as well, merci!

EDIT: Whoops, missed the Deluxe, picked that up too!

My Fender preamp has never been happier LOL (1X10, 1X12, and 4X10, all my favorite Fender cab sounds)!

Hi Sylvain

I demoed the new cabs for a couple of hours last night and they sound amazing – great job again
I hope the BritGreen2 will be up soon as well, I plan to get all 5 at the same time.

I noticed one thing about the the Silver10 2. It sounds to me like the Mk5's and 141's load the opposite front and back IR's.
They sound more open and direct with the back cab IR's loaded. Not a big deal, but I thought it worth mentioning.

All the best
Knut

Ola todos,

merci pour les encouragements. :-)

I definitely have to do some audios tests about #2 captures.
Hope it will be fixable.

We will fix it but our team is very small these days with the holidays.

All the customers will see their cabinets updated after we find the issue and fix it. ;)

I confirmed Sunking's Silver10 2 bug as I hadn't tried that cab yet (but did not check all the other mics)...

The workaround is to select the cab's back rather than it's front on the mics effected.

We corrected the Silver10 2. If you want to get the corrected file, just go to the License and Cabinet Manager on the Two Notes Store website : http://store.two-notes.com/index.php?co ... tnLicenses

Choose "Renew your Torpedo license.", and click ok.

Then, launch the Torpedo Remote or WoS III : it should detect the new license online, download it, and download the updated file automatically. You may however need to restart the Torpedo Remote or WoS a second time for the changes to be effective.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Each file is carefully validated before going on sale (that's how the BritGreen2 was delayed, actually), but in this case, with the Silver10 2 being open back, and overly "open" character of the condenser microphones, we just missed this inversion.

Anyway, enjoy the cabinet ! :)

@pacocito -> Yes it is!

The "blue label" speakers made by Chicago Telephone Supply (CTS) in the 60's are gorgeous.

The Superblue is one of our best capture.

As you see in the picture is not easy to read the serial number.

The amp was made in 1966, i'm sure of that.
Perhaps the speakers was changed in 69? I don't know.
Whatever, this cab has an incredible mojo.

I play a friend's blackface Super Reverb (65-66, not sure) from time to time. We use it for recording at the studio. It's an awesome amp.

I like the Silver 10 2 too!

I have a original 1971 SF Super Reverb with the original Blue Label CTS speakers, and your captures sound just like it!

Merci Sylvain, as my Super Reverb weighs 80lbs (36kg) so I don't move it much anymore!

Hi,

we have identify the problem about the BritGreen2.
It's not a big deal. We have to erase and redo the back captures for small condensers mics. It's the safer solution.
But it isn't our cab. We're looking to find a way to have the cab at Le Mirador soon as possible.
It's a priority for us... cause the BritGreen2 is absolutely fantastic !
We are very very very proud of this capture... So we are truly sorry for the delaying.

Fearhk213 -> I note your idea... but I am not really sure to find this kind of stuff near us... :(

Sylvain,

Just wanted to say I'm a fan of your cabs! I have the Silver10 and TangerBlak... and I want them all!

Please keep making more cabs! I know a metal one is rumored... I'm not much of a metal player, but I look forward to hearing and playing any of your other offerings! Please keep finding rare, VINTAGE, awesome sounding cabs. Thank you!

Would be nice to know what speakers are in these cabs.

I love the BritGreen2 and RandRV412 but the Angl 60C2, Angl Pro 212, and Buddah aren't showing up for me in any of the cab locations in La Boutique? I want to check those out before I buy as I'll probably want those as well!

Awesome job Sylvain on the BG2 and RV412...dang they sound great

I had the same problem with the new cabs not showing up. The solution for me was to revert back to an earlier version of Remote 3.0.somthing (from March). It seem to be a problem with the last version of Remote 3.1.5, also some cabs showing wrong size proportion, 1x12's.

As for Sylvain, great job again! I'm not into metal, but the last three cabs sounds great no matter what

Ok, thanks. I wondered if that was the issue as I had just upgraded to 3.1.5. I'll figure out how to revert to the previous Remote version and hopefully that'll solve the problem. Appreciate your help

I just looked at the Knowledge base Q/A's accessed from Remote... Ah geez, it looks like a pita and quite scary/involved to go try and revert back to the previous remote version with my limited computer skills  :( I'm afraid to try to do this frankly. I don't want to mess up everything I've done/created/saved already. Last time I do any updates until they are bugless.

Hi Guys, we had a server issue yesterday, that was fixed during the day. No need to revert anything as far as we know, the problem is solved.

If that's not the case, contact the Help Desk. ;)

I updated to v3.1.7.3 but I'm still not seeing the Buddah cab nor the Angl 60c2? I've gone through the full cab list, guitar list, mirador studio and those two aren't showing up anywhere.

I'm so confused.

Thanks again Sylvain for the latest great captures. I'm not a metal guy but loved a few of the new cabs, especially the CalifRecto's. Is that one fitted with V30's ?

I believe I have all of there cabs from the Vintage pack – The info text for the vintage pack list a Fender Pro Reverb(2x12), I guess this is wrong and should say Super Reverb (4x10) ?
Though I would love to see a 2x12 pro reverb cab, actually more vintage open back 2x12's ands 1x12's is most welcome :)
