Torpedo live and pod hd 500x

Hey there
I am using a torpedo live and pod hd 500x
When i connect the t-cab to the line out of the hd500x it sounds to fuzzy .like i am hearing alot an un cabed pre amp sound
I was wondering what is the perfect setup and connection using the t-cab and the 500x.
Line out . Fx loop. Preamp only on the 500x etc....

If it sounds fuzzy, maybe the miking simulation is off, or the signal you are hearing is dry.

Does the sound change when you change the cabinet, mic, distance, center and position parameters ?

Is the power amp simulation turned on in the Torpedo?

What works best for me is switching the POD to Stack mode and using the pre amp models. Then using the power amp simulation from my C.A.B.

I then also use a parametric EQ in the POD to dial out any high end fizz. Then I might use the C.A.B.'s EQ section to dial in the rest. If There is still any fizz remaining it usually sits in the 2khz zone. Spending some time on equalizing my presets have gotten me great results! I have also had to use some High and Low pass filters in the POD to tame low end and fizz for some high gain patches.

I use the SilverJen Cabinet most of the time.
