Power Amp sims in WoS and Live, etc...

I know this is a bit late since I've been using these for years now, but I've never really gotten into the power amp simulations.

Well now I'm playing around with a preamp (instead of a tube head) into my WoS and want to add a little power amp thump to it... but the controls in the WoS don't seem to control what I expect.

I've read the manual more than a couple of times and read through many posts here but can someone give me some starting points that might be similar to a VHT and/or Boogie type of power amp (in other words, one 6L6 and one EL34?)

I'll keep playing with it, but the sweep of the controls seems WAY more than any tube power amp I've ever used so I'm not sure what's within the real of "realistic."

I am curious too, just received a Fredamp preamp pedal, and I didn't yet find optimal settings for it with the WOS poweramp sim.

Start with the presence maxed, and the depth at 50%, and the EL34's.

Set the input level to not clip, and power amp level to around 10 for relatively clean, and up through 20+ for dirty and compressed.

If you haven't updated yet, update to get the new Arcade Mode and reverb too.
