Torpedo Live + Cab Connection

Hi! At the moment I use Torpedo Live with a 8 Ohm cab in serial connection (Amp --> Torpedo Live --> Cab).
Is it safe to use it in parallel connection (Amp 2x8 Ohm output --> 1 x Torpedo Live + 1 x Cab)?

I assume by Cab you mean a traditional speaker cabinet, not a Torpedo Cab.

When plugged in series ie Head---> Torpedo Live spkr in--> Torpedo Live spkr Thru ---> Cabinet the amp sees the impedance of the Cabinet not the Torpedo so you'd use the amp's output (or selector setting) that matches the cabinet's rating.

If you plug the Head to both the Torpedo Live and the Cabinet in parallel, the Amp sees the ratio of impedances. In the case that the Cabinet is also 8 ohms, the amp would see a total load of 4 ohms. If your amp can happily handle running at 4 ohms, you can work that way.
