Kemper profiles using Torpedo Live as source?

I have a Kemper inbound and currently have 3 tube amps ( Engl Ironball, PRS Archon and KSR Orthos ) that I'd like to profile. Has anyone tried using the Torpedo rather than mics as the source to profile on a Kemper? It seems like it would be an good solution, especially given the ease of changing mics and cabs, to quickly create profiles.

Any downside to doing it this way? Thanks!

I think there are many "commercial"' Kemper profiles using that solution.

I actually did a capture of a Kemper cabinet with BlendIR to load into our Torpedo Live and it worked well too. ^^
