Torpedo live: anyone use the power amp sims along with a amp

Anyone turning on the power amp sim while using a tube amp and a cab with their live. I've been trying it with my eve stealth and I seem to get some bite back to the guitar sound. Anyone doing this front of house. I haven't had a chance to run this thru our pa yet, interested to find out what people have tried

Nope. I tried it FOH once and I didn't like what I was getting through the house system. I left it off. Still, no reason not to experiment with it!

I remember having this conversation with the Sound on Sound guys: they used the power amp to virtually push a very very clean and powerful Hiwatt amp.

When using the power amp modeling, always starts with presence and depth at 100% and decrease the value if needed. If presence is set to a low value, Depth won't be very effective.
