Anyone tried the Friedman BE-OD directly into Torpedo ?

I know there are distortion pedals designed to work into a clean amp but I wonder if someone had good results into Torpedo as well. So, what other distortion pedals sound good in this set-up ?

I can give good results, but a good preamplifier is always recommanded. Try with and without a preamp, you'll know what we are talking about

Basically, pedals are designed to go into a preamplifier. A preamplifier is designed to be a preamplifier (even a clean one is a whole design, heavily modifying your tone).
