Mod VB101 for 16ohm load

I think I know the answer before I begin and it's a big fat NO, but I thought it worth asking.

Would it be possible to change components in the VB101 to permanently convert it to a 16ohm loadbox rather than an 8ohm?

 or

I know a Studio has selectable impedance so the answer is probably to flip my VB101 and start saving, but I like trying to get the most out of the gear I already have so I'd like to avoid selling a VB101 if I can.

Thanks!

The answer is a bit fat NO BUT: did you see we are about to release the new Torpedo Captor?

Put the 16 Ohm captor in the THRU output of your VB-101 and you're good to go! And it'll be cheaper than a modification on the VB-101 anyway.

Thanks Guillaume! I did see that, looks cool. So I would just connect the amp to the VB101 as usual but then also run a cable from the thru of the VB101 into a 16 ohm Captor?

Yep, that's all you need to do. ;)

And you'll get another output with analog speaker sim, in case you want another flavor to your tone. ;)
