one device live or cab doing mutli cabinets

Is the live or c.a.b. capable of/has enough processing and dsp power to process dual cabs (or even 4) or can they only do one cab model at a time? Anyone who wants dual cabs (or more) must use WOS plugin?

The Studio does 2 cabs at once. You can use a multi mic static IR with any Torpedo but you'd be using whatever blend the IR's creator chose to use. You could also blend static IR's in BlendIR and use that with a Cab or Live. Blend Ir is free so you can try that option before making your purchase.

The only way you could get more then Two cabs (via the Studio), would be to buy upcoming Captor, or Reload, then run it into a PC, or laptop then use WOL. You would also need a sound card, or usb audio interface to output the sound.

It's not really a question of CPU power, the Live and CAB were designed as professional fast and easy to use products for a live situation where, usually, nobody will let you play with 10 microphones in front of 10 different cabinets.

Studio gives you more options, and WoS lets you add up to 50 pairs of cabinets which is ridiculous but at least someone may have enough time in the studio to play with them.
