I have managed this afternoon, after far too much web-searching, to work out the various cables needed for the Torpedo Live. Could someone confirm for me please that:
* Connecting the amp to the Torpedo requires a SPEAKER cable.
* Connecting the LINE OUT to the Line in of my Focusrite requires a TRS cable.
Have I overlooked something, or is this not mentioned in the manual? Could someone please direct me if I am wrong. Having scoured forums trying to understand why my LIVE is not working, I find that it is one of the most common problems for many purchasers.
In the online manual, the colours represent cables, I imagine - what they represent however is not mentioned. Worse, in the printed manual, the illustrations are black & white.
This is clearly not very helpful - especially given the dangers of incorrect cable usage.
I find the fuzziness of the manual in this regard, as well as most online videos (which elide all mention of DAWs as well) to be highly unsatisfactory in such an expensive product. This needs to be redressed.
Clearly, this is new technology for many guitarists - Two-Notes need to provide a clear, illustrated, step-by-step procedure.
