can somebody explain to me why this preamp only has one FX send and a pair of returns? I am building a New Rack rig for live use and will be running this with a decimator prorack G and want to run both sides of the preamp into a stereo poweramp... how do I run the decimator into both sides of the e530 of it only has one send?
I haven't bought one yet so I can't find out for myself

Might be better off asking ENGL themselves through the
customer support page on their web page. I get responses
within a day that way.

Good Luck

no it shows a pair of Fx returns and fx one send... the other is an aux/instrument in

Almost every preamp has one send and two returns,
made for preamp out -> effect in -> split in stereo -> return A/B

It was the L/R Output with Line Level adjustment that can achieve a stereo
rack system set up using processors and the like, it is buffered though.

I'm not sure that the singular Instrument output is stereo or not, doesn't really
state whether or not it is in the manual. The signal can be tested (output jack)
This would be ideal for your wishes, if not a stereo split would be fine too.

ENGL offers an alternative with the L/R Outputs and Level adjustment, this is
meant for modern rack systems. G-major, ISP G, Axe FX

Thanks for the help Piero!

I think the idea is that the send is mono. I suppose you can always use a line out, but it will have different impedance. BTW if you're considering buying one I have a nice minty unit sitting in front of me which doesn't get nearly the love it should.
