Wiring question

I have a 86 Charvel Model 4 which has HSS pickup configuration. Originally it had 3 on/off switches (1 per pickup), a volume, a tone and a midboost. I am going to rewire it with same pup config, same switch config, but no midboost/preamp bullshit. Should I be using 500k or 250k pots considering there will be a humbucker AND single coils? Also, does anyone have a wiring diagram to do this? As far as the third pot, I don't care if it's a separate volume for the singles, a separate tone for the singles, etc... there has to be something there though.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you using stock pickups? J50BC and J200? AFAIR those aren't supposed to sound great without midboost. At least bridge humbucker is kinda too bright by itself. Anyway I'd start with gibson 300k volume for bridge pup to load it down.
