My splawn crushed the jvm, the poor jvm was screamin for mercy. I feel sorry for carls jvm, he doesn't like to wash his jizzy finger and likes to stick his finger up his ass. There might be a turd stuck to one of the knobs.

I got duolos a vh4 for a couple hundred over cost last year from a differant dealer. I normally send people and they pay a couple hundred over cost but this time I decided to get you my price. I keep those deals for myself.

God sure wasted some good playing skills by givin them to crazycarl. Just think if carl wasn't crazy and was a half ass nice person. Nodoubt he can play but his attitude ruins it. What a waste, I wish I was half as good. I don't really like carl but I respect his skills and I checked out his clips and he can play. But he's the biggest asshole I've ever seen. I can't understand how he's so crazy acting all the time. Maybe he's retarded, or insane.

I like my splawn way way better.
It blew away the jvm. Its clearer,less compressed, and better built.

Don't get me wrong. That amp has me twitchin' like everybody else, but I didn't quite hear anything just yet that would get me away from my Fuchs TDS. But, those amps are apples and oranges anyways...two different worlds. I could easily justify one of each! ;) I love the layout and features on the JVM and the built-in MIDI. I'd pay a lot to take the TDS sonic spectrum and spread it out over four channels (or even three!) the way that Marshall did with theirs!

I played the JVM at the lowest possible volume you can think of, and it's still useable and sounds decent. I can't say that about any other Marshall. Yes, it does sound better loud, but so does every tube amp.

I hate to compare to Splawn as we know where that leads to, but you'll never ever get a Splawn to sound as low in volume as the JVM while still sounding good. Splawn don't sound good to me unless they're peeling the paint off the wall. But that also goes for most any non-master volume head and most other Marshall knock off's I've seen.

All I can say is I am glad some guys are getting great deals on their gear and yeah, Carl gets out of line with the insults but the guy can walk the walk when it comes to playing and posting great clips. I have not heard any Splawn clips that have those tones. I would like to hear them as I have not played Splawn before. Everyone have a nice day. :)
 
I agree carl can play and his clips are good, I really just consider carls remarks as a joke, as far as I'm concerned its just a game we play. Its not like I wanna get a saw and cut his head. Its all a big joke.
 
Steve or Ralph, do you have any clips of the JVM made by you two? (and yes, this was a sneaky attempt to get Ralph to post more clips of his playing. :D)

Steve, I'm eagerly awaiting for Marshall to release a new preamp, JMP-2, which is made with JVM's preamp's specs. ;)

I'm curious. What does "bonzai" mean? Did you mean "banzai" as in the Japanese celebratory chant that means "long life/hurrah"?
 
Carl, you know I can't make any clips because I don't know how to. And I doubt I could play as good as you. I have no problem admitting that. So I guess I can't shut you up then. Acutally even though we argue I still found it in my heart to listen to your clips and give you a compliment on your playing. No matter what bad stuff I say to you I really just mean it as a big joke. Unlike you I don't take everthing serious. I just consider it a little game we play. Enjoy your new amp and make more clips, its not my nature to be a prick every second of my life, but you always have to have the last word. I'm the kind of person who can get in a fist fight and then go for lunch with the guy. I don't have it in my heart to a asshole to everybody I meet.
If you wanna be a dickhead then that's fine, everybody knows what you are, I got pm's from 5 differant people who told me just to ignor you because your a asshole.
 
I just got back a bit ago from playing the JVM. I didn't get to play it for very long, only about 25 minutes. I did however get to play it LOUD!

I really dug it turned up. Down low, not so much. It didn't sound bad
turned down by any means but when you really turn it up, as in past
6 on the volume, that amp smokes. I really dug OD1 Orange. There
was a lot in there. Cranked up, the amp just sung. It is honestly a
lead players dream amp IF he likes the Marshall sound.

The clean sounds, they were ok. Good for a Marshall, but only ok as
a whole to my ears.

1. I just bought a Splawn
2. I've always kinda trolled and admired Zao for his gear and info on gear
3. I never realized what an awesome player Carl is :yes:
4. took a half hour to read through this entire thread

and last but not least..

5. I still have'nt heard any of Ralph's JVM clips from Steve!!!! :dunno:
