There are more good guys than bad at the post office, otherwise nothing would ever get delivered. ;) It would have been cool if they would have at least put the picks back in the freaking envelope, I'm sure once they saw what they were they were tossed. I doubt there are metal pick gangs waiting patiently for packages from Clayton Custom Picks.

I just hope I get em in time for the gig saturday. :)

Yeah well FUCK FEDEX to. A guy shipped a pedal to me on Saturday and he's 35 minutes away. It showed up today at 6:30pm. Don't they know I'm an impatient guitar player and I probably would have tried and sold this thing already.

As a matter of fact, if they would deliver by 10:30, they could pick it back up after lunch....

Sorry for the Loss Pete.....but sounds like the company is making good on it.

Of course!! I knew it was little jab....no problem. I love it.
I was just upset that the way its handled and Pete never got what he ordered.
Dirtbags are everywhere. If it is someone in the system.....he will get caught.....lose his job and do Jail time.
Reminds me of the Video where the UPS guy steals that package off the porch that was left by FedEx.
Hope its worth it. :gethim:

Hey Mailman...have any clout with customs? I've been waiting on a package from Germany for five weeks now.USPS tracking says "Origin post is preparing shipment". It's been that way for a month

How heavy was the box and was it sent "Surface" from Germany? The 'slow boat' really does exist. Could take up to 8 weeks transit time. I know USPS done away from 'surface' mail leaving the USA to go overseas since it was taking way too long. But not sure if other countries still have it. :dunno:

Nope it says registered mail. Supposedly landed in the US on Feb. 24. It was a small package with just 4 mustard caps for my Plexi

Man....that sucks....Been down that road too many times before. The use of Priority Mail for Pedals with tons of packing is my only use for USPS.

Yup that's waaaay too long. Call around till you can get ahold of the serving customs office
For a status. Should be no longer then 5 days in customs

I tried calling around. I guess I'm screwed
well Registered mail is a series of sginatures till it reaches destination. Someone has signed for it. Should turn up.
Just seems way to long for some caps to be held up in customs.

Going on six weeks now. Plus I ordered a pickguard from Warmoth and paid for Priority shipping and it went out Monday via First Class Mail. I won't see that guard now until next week.

Abouts 4 weeks waiting now on my Friedman BE-100 that was sent USPS Expressed mail and neither Brad King nor i know exactly where it is as USPS won't updated its info? British Customs is pretty fast as they want their customs tax pretty quick, the UK deliverer on behalf of USPS tells me they don't have it yet so i am assuming its still somewhere in USPS hands? Last known place it was scanned was Chicago.
Next time its FEDEX for speedy delivery.

USPS is not required to update the package locations like fedex or UPS. They are only required to post when it was received and whether it is delivered. I went throught he same thing purchasing my Tverb from a user that claimed to live in the states but never bothered to tell me the amplifier was coming from germany. This was an RT user as well.

I forgot to add "hopefully". The USPS is seriously screwing stuff big time.Think it has anything to do with Saturday mail delivery shutting down in August and the union being pissed about it?

getting tired of the tumble-weed rolling pass my house whilst i wait.

They left some equipment OUTSIDE on the FRONT STEPS for me one time.. I was displeased. Could have at least put it inside the door on the porch..
