New small amp ?

Chan 1: clean to Einstein Texas
Chan 2: crunch to vh4 ch3 territory
Reverb
Serial fx loop (switchable would be awesome)
Channel and reverb select via stereo plug footswitch
Added midi control would be a nice luxury.
Also another channel like dmoll with just gain/vol would be awesome.
Combo and head versions.

Don't hate me for digging up an old thread... Any updates on a small Diezel combo amp?

I'd love a combo 1x12 or 2x12 with V30s, cleans and a VH4 ch 3 distortion!

Mr Peter diezel mind asking if you yourself is also a metal listener ? having designing so many well suited metal amp ?

Head version :
- Clean channel with equalization, gain and reverb
- Lead channel with equlaization, gain and reverb
- effects loop switchable
- 2 master volumes
- Deep and presence control
- 30W

Combo version => with Creamback G12H-75

Micro Fokker:
Same 2 channels, gain boost on ch2, 1 switchable loop, preamp out, 4x6V6 power tubes.
Is delivered with a free Diezel T-Shirt !

  good idea

I am hoping Santa(papa) is listening I would love there to be the option to have a 50 watt el34 or a separate amp called the Max50 which is exact same features as 22 6v6 but holds bigger tubes.
It would be nice to see a 50 W in the Deizel family again VH ,Hagen ,Herb Dmoll all are 100 a smaller more compact 50 w dual verb and Zerrer type direct out would be incredible

2x KT77's (stock diezel tube of choice)
2 channels, both with a toggle switch for 4 total voicings.
switchable serial loop
NO midi, to save cost, space, and weight.
head only version.

But.....

Start building a Diezel 1x12 cab again, and make the new head and cab the same width. It would be a mini half stack! Or buy two 1x12 cabs and have a mini full stack, even better!

This would work to ,I would love just to see a simple 50 watter in the lineup all black simple tolex even with grill cloth too keep cost down ,as you said no midi etc

Midi is not expensive. Just more wiring.

I have a big issue with 20 watt amps.
Not enough power if you have a loud drummer.
Too loud for home und studio environment.

I have an other idea but want keep it secret.

Cheers,
Peter

Ohhhh! black ops amp building...

I agree, 20w is too small. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong but part of the Diezel sound is the power amp being powerful, clean, and well defined. Seems it would be easy to overdrive the power section with the low wattage type tubes. Plus I can't lie, Peter was right, the KT77 is awesome.

Oh man I can't wait anymore!!!

In the moment I'm looking for a good sounding little solution. Let's say you have to do a rehearsal in a new band and you don't want to pull the Diezel halfstack, like in my case.

So this little amp would be perfect and like mentioned before a Diezel 1x12. Would buy it immediately!!!
There is nothing on the market for my taste beside Mesa. But it's too expensive in Germany. A Mark V:25 is something over 1700 euros. Instead I can buy a brand new DMoll or the cheaper Lil'Fokker.

A build in power soak would be nice.
Imagine that...a little Diezel amp and you can use it everywhere!!! Fantastic!

Maybe a vertical 2x12 cab with casters? I always thought a Mesa Mark short head on top one of those old metal grille vertical 212 cabs were cool. Maybe the new head could share headshells with the Smaller sized Dmoll? Then the vertical 212 cab the same width... just dreaming out loud. :D

For a small wattage head:
-Single set of eq with two seperate gains so you can have a clean.
-A switch with a variable slope resistor that you can activate to scoop the amp up more for the clean sound and a pumped mid for soloing.
-head and cab version
-4x el84 or 6v6
- not overly gainy on the gains themselves but the option of boosting like the herbet -/+ switch
-variable wattage of some sort
