Hi everyone,
i am new to this forum and have some questions concerning my (beloved) Einstein.
Channel 1 with all 3 Settings is o.k. but Ch.2 has a much higher noise level (Grundrauschen),
quite independant from the gain setting. Ch.2 is also much more muted than Ch.1.
Seems to me that the source of the problem is on the preamp side, since Ch.1
is perfectly o.k. and VERY loud..
I read on the Diezel homepage that Valve 2 is only responsible for Ch.2,
is there a chance that replacing Valve 2 will solve the problem?
And in case that will do, what tube is recommended there and do i have to
adjust bias currents or so?
Thanks in advance for comments
Regards
Holger
P.S. If there are some o's or i's missing its my fuc... laptop, not my poor diction.... i hope
