Mesa Traditional/Stiletto 412s are magical. Way better than many other cabs, including Recto cabs.

I've owned all of the ones mentioned in the title as well as many others and the evh 5150III 4x12's are my favorite so far. The sound great for everything from classic rock to the heaviest of heavy.

Happy with Bogner st cabs but screw cabs, that fairlane is Just killer!! S

You bumped a 2 year old thread for this?

I find the recto cabs some of the best for my amps. ;) But also really like my avatar contemporary cab with my rectos, it has english V30's so i have a different kind of V30's in house. FUnny thing is though, my mesa rack setup sounds like crap through a mesa 4x12, but sounds amazing through the avatar 2x12.

For the price and quality of Avatar, it is a no brainer. Add some V30s or Hellatones and you are Golden.

Krank 4x12 cabs are solid poplar wood with baltic birch ply baffle.
FWIW, they slay any particle board cab.

I'm a fan of Mesa traditional (straight) 4x12s. And depending on the amp you're using with it-I've also been a fan the VHT (P50E loaded) 4x12s.

I had a straight Mesa Traditional 4x12 next to a straight Bogner 4x12 and the Bogner was a MUCH better sounding cab. A LOT warmer, sweeter, and just better sounding. The Mesa sounded stiff in comparison. It may have just been that particular Mesa? Not sure?

Why I pack 5 cabs with different load outs, better than changing tubes, cables, pups, strings, cock rings, etc.

I love my Uberkab. Such a sweet cab for almost anything you throw at it.

From all the cabs I've tried- Scumback, or the OS ENGLs just rule all others. Unless you want to drop the coin for a Kerry Wright cab.

The Marshall Hand Wired Cabs are very good (Comparable to the Bogner 4x12). Only new Marshall Cab to have IMO.

+1 Love Mine!

SPLAWN is about the best thing going for a high quality cab at a fair price!

this..even if you take the price part out of that statement...great quality, variety of speakers, variety of cosmetic options....tough to beat...

mojo makes a pretty nice cab too...vlad's loaded with greenies sounds nice..

Mesa 4×12 straight is great w/ Mesa Double Rectfier Hd; comperable to old Bogner 2×12 Cabinet and Head (Unkown speakers), but bought an Unfinished, Hand Made 2×12 Pine Cab, added 2 Celestion G-12 Vintage 30 Speakers (4 ohm made in England) that Blows away both Mesa and Bogner cabinets. Speaker choice is as important as Guitar or Amp, as it is the Final 'Filter' in the chain. Lóòking 4 info on this Bogner Head?
