Fryette Pittbull Ul cab options?

Just picked up an awesome Ultra Lead from a forum member , and have been in the hunt for a Fryette/Vht Fatbottom. Unfortunately , locally these aren’t exactly easy to find and not much luck finding one online that anyone is willing to ship

I can grab a new one with the p50e’s for around 1300, get one with the fanes after they aren’t on back order for 1400+, or grab another brand locally or even online at much less. Orange ppc 412 being my next option.

What’s a good match for this head? I know a lot of people prefer this Fryette cabs with the head

The UL I had sounded great through the EVH 412 with Heritage greenbacks. Also sounded great through K100s. Sounded better when I combined both cabs/speakers.

Good luck getting a new cab from Fryette, I've been waiting 13 months for my FB412.

Thanks for the reply! I’m currently running mine into an emperor 212 with Weber 1260s and it’s sounds good, I’m just ready to get a 412 again.

I’ve heard they sound best with the p50e or a fane, but someone has an orange ppc with Celestions pretty cheap so that maybe an option also. I’ll check into the evh for sure. I’m in Oklahoma so locally it’s usually cheaper Marshall cabs , or other lower end options . I found

VHT used to load their cabs with V30s. I had a Fatbottom with P50Es that I didn't really care for. Any frontloaded cab with decent speakers should pair nicely.

Those VHTs are so tight and articulate (in a good way!) that it might pair really nicely with Creambacks - which hold together at higher wattages and volumes well compared to lower wattage speakers.
