Man, good shit on this album. Sure, it's no old-school with Max, but modern, slammin' heavy shit!



 
I have seen them twice back in the day, and they were one of the best shows I have seen.
 
I haven't liked anything since Max left. But this album kicks a$$. :rock:

Yeah, I prefer Soulfly. Max continues to churn out killer heavy riffs time and time again, and Marc Rizzo is an absolute monster.

I'm looking forward to seeing them again this summer.
 
I saw Sepultura with Max and Igor when I was a kid. Also Fear Factory played with them. There was a third really great band on that show but I cant remember. I want to say Exodus but I think they were with Body Count and D.R.I.
 
Ah it was Fudge Tunnel and Clutch. Great show. Met the guys from Clutch who were giving away CD's. Max had the same Alternative Tentacles tee shirt on that I was wearing. I felt cool for once.

Yeah I saw this tour with Clutch. It was Chaos AD I believe. I also saw them open for Ozzy on the Roots tour. It wasn't near as a good of a show.
 
I have to give it a few more listens...I didn't mind it, but also wasn't blown away. At least it's heavy. Kinda almost reminded me of Pantera in parts.
 
Nice, havent been into them much since the 90s lol but this one is pretty awesome. Love that drummer too.
 
I dig it too. For me it’s their best since Chaos A.D.

Drummer is sick. Check out some of his YouTube videos, he's no love-tapper. He beats the living shit out of his drums!
 
Couple years ago at a show featuring all incredible drummers (Gene Hoglan - Testament, Art Cruz - Prong, now Lamb of God), Eloy from Sepultura stole the fucking show as far as drumming goes :shocked:

I'm debating going here in Tampa. Sacred Reich was a favorite of mine back in the day, as well!
 
I was watching their 2019 Rock in Rio set the other day, and Andreas had a killer tone. Looked like he was using Orange Rockerverbs. Does anyone know if he boosts them with anything or if that's just amp gain? I can't see anything online about his signal flow in recent years. There's a detailed one from 2004 but he's clearly not using that stuff anymore
