Surprised by that. The vocals are pretty close to what you like. I can't go that high, so I can never cover him. All falsetto at that point

The arrangements have always struck me as wanky, kind of like dream theater.

I'm willing to give it a shot tho
 
It is an experience more than an album. Needs to be listened to loud. Temples of syrinx is one of my all time favorite songs. But discovery is pretty cool. Kind of makes me think of myself. I can pick up a guitar and play it. I can learn other's songs, but when i write, it is uninspired and shit, but some people can tinker with it for a second and play a beautiful melody.
 
I remember being blown away at first listen. It was like I was on the edge of my seat. DSOTM and Animals are also a couple of my favorites. Fragile by Yes is a personal favorite.
 
I haven’t played it in a band for 20 years but I bet I can still play side one in it’s entirety. One of my all time favorite records.

It's a great one, for sure, but I'd put several other Rush albums ahead of it. The four albums following it are all stronger IMO.

Regardless, these guys had a run in there that is simply incredible.
