You ever heard "Angel Dust" by Faith No More, or maybe Lamb Of God "Ashes Of the Wake" and "As The Palaces Burn" or maybe some Neurosis? like "Through Silver In Blood". Or if you like Punk? Offspring "Smash". NOFX have a bunch of records with Mark IV's on them. Fuck there's tons.... and that's not mentioning the Metallica records.

I must say Dillenger Escape plan has killer mark v tones . They made them sound like their old rectifier tones. So much I’m the hands

Oh ya, forgot about them. They have at least one record with Mark V's on it that sounds really good

Also, believe it or not Cannibal Corpse used a Mark V on one of their more recent albums, not the last one "Violence Unimagined" but the one before that I believe?? It sounds pretty brutal and there's some actual clarity in their tone for once.

Keywords: by themselves. AJFA for sure wasn’t just a 2c+ by itself, and MOP is still up for debate. Annnnddddd that’s it as far as that amp is concerned.

Sure those are all pretty good, and none of them are 2c+’s, which is where the joke stems from. But leave it to the 2c+ guys to get worked up about a joke post AGAIN!

I'm not sure where the debate is on MOP, we have the studio notes that show what was used. BTW if you follow the settings in the notes on a C+ it sounds astonishingly like the album.

I've never copped a tone that close before.

Also nofx is still one of my favorite albums to this day, and it sounds incredible for that stuff. And great songs most importantly. I believe that was a mark III though however? I know eL hefe has used all kinds of stuff over the last 35 years though.

Have you heard Chevelle's latest album NIRATIUS? It sounds fucking huge. Great tones and songwriting on that album... the bass tone is unbelievable as well. Anything produced by Joe Baressi sounds great IMO.

How much acid did you take tonight? It seems to be less than normal, because that was ALMOST coherent…. Almost. Also yea, you are deaf as all fuck if you can’t appreciate nickleback’s production on their records, that’s what I said.

I guess I'm one of the few that actually digs channel 2 on the IV. It takes some time to dial, but there's some cool vintage style tones in there and it takes overdrives really well, the master has to be run pretty hard though.
