That's a trip.
Did he like it?
Does PRS on the serial list possibly mean something else.
Also wonder if maybe the PRS amp guys wanted some SLOs as 'guides' for their future amp line?

Also,
Does anyone know who/what "All Access" and "Produx" and "Make N Music" are. Are those retail stores/distributors maybe?
Making Music was (don't know if still there) a music store in Chicago that had nothing but highend gear. Last time I was there was in 1990 -1991. Easy best collect of gear I have ever seen. I bought my Mesa Mark IV there.

Page Two shows 7 SLO's going to PRS. Some friends and I shared a booth at the Tacoma Dome guitar show a few years back. Paul was a major vendor/sponsor. He stopped by our booth asked if he could try my SLO rig I had for sale there (pic below to verify). He said he has never played thru one before. Interesting. So if that's true, the 7 SLO's that went to PRS must've been a bulk employee purchase, and he never go to try one of them.

I wonder if they got the SLO's to benchmark the PRS Harmonic Generator amp against.

Though I don't really see why that would require 7 of them

Those Heads went to germany, PRS Germany was the distributor for Soldano (see old ad below)
-same goes for AllAccess/Produx &Make'N Music (Big store in L.A./ Reinhold Bogner mentioned them
in his Interview

RB: Meanwhile I don't sell them myself, I sell them to a store, Makin' Music in L.A.
Andy Brauer used to be partners with them. The store is selling exclusively
Soldano, VHT and Bogner; he also sells Mesa-Boogie and Marshall of course.

It's the only store where you can buy Soldano exept from Mike Soldano directly.

Yeah, he really dug it. When he was done after a few minutes and hit the Standby switch, he commented on how smooth and easy it was to play. He said he didn't have any more room on the truck to take it home because of all the vintage amps he picked up while in town. I actually saw him buy a mint '71 full stack at that show. I didn't offer to ship and he didn't ask, so that was that. He just wanted to try it, I guess.

Yeah and I believe there was another in LA? At any rate, I was there in 2009 and I was blown away. They had everything. Bogners, Diezels, Engls, Cornfords, Elmwoods, Soldanos, Rectos -- you name it. And plenty of sound proof rooms to crank them.

They’re still around, they’re in Northfield now. They were in LA back in the day too
