Anyone post this yet? Smokin solo as always, I'd say I like the tempo of this one. It drives hard and the song is good for what it is, I think it would probably sound better live. Tone is a bit thick and fizzy for me, would have preferred something tighter. But Overall, B+

Killer rythm playing on this one. A little less tight in the tone but heavy. Nuno hitting some Lynch diddles in this one too with the phaser. Hard not to love this guy's playing. Dave Friedman is out to lunch saying that Nuno never did anything for him. Crazy.
 
If the rest of the album is similar I could definitely get into it.

This one has always be my personal favorite though. It helps that it was on the Bill & Ted soundtrack.

 
the first song is terrible, production sounds weird and they look like jerks. F. second song sounds better but is kind of all over the place, one minute hes "La La La"ing, next minute they are trying some heavy part or something, solo is ok but dosent really fit the song. i wouldnt listen again so thats an F too lol
 
Took me back to 1985! Pop goes the metal. I’m so sad. I grew up and can’t listen to this music anymore because I used to really like it, not.

The beginning until he started singing, was OK, I knew the solo would be a knockout, but what the fuck are they doing putting out this kind of music? WTF, come on!! Girlyman music.

I'm with you. Nothing will ever beat the early stuff but this is some great new rock.

The first 10 seconds of the riff had me going "Hell Yeah BOI" but then the verse and the copy, paste, repeat rhythm and solo just left me reminding myself why I don't listening to (new) this kind of music anymore. Also....too Aerosmithy
 
Nice they are going a little heavier but for the love of God, somebody SMACK Cherone already!!!!
 
Got' Dam he can play. I understand some of the feedback that the songs aren't quite as infectious or hook laden as some of the earlier stuff. But I also know that - at least for me anyway - that has a lot to do with just listening to the album a few times to sort of 'program' my brain to anticipate certain hooks and punches in the songs. Nuno just has such good tone and such depressingly clear, articulate technique. So glad these guys are putting stuff like this out there.
 
Nuno owns. He doesn't have to prove anything to anyone, but he still shows up here, totally killer. Tone is cool and playing is the usual awesomeness.
 
I dunno man. As a huge Extreme fan but not someone that grew up in that period, I feel like I’m kinda over it at this point.
Kudos for them for still putting it out there though

Funny how we all hear different things. Some of you guys are getting too old I guess.... I dig both songs and am excited to get the album when it's available. Better than 90% of what's being put now a days really... I think it Fuckin Rocks!!!:rock:
