Their presence and intention here is clearly understood so the fact that you're defending them and attacking me just shows you're exactly like them, one of them. If this is the extent of your reasoning then I have no respect for you - and if you think that's being arrogant then go ahead and keep misusing that term.

The bible says satan "appears as an angel of light" and that there are "wolves in sheep's clothing," so even kids can understand that satan primarily attacks and infests the heart of Christian establishment in order to destroy it. As Jesus said, "A house divided against itself will fall" in reference to this method of satan's operation.

Uneducated people puke stupid things like, "Well Christianity tortured and murdered millions of people in the medieval era," blah, blah. Yet, everyone who says that never even used any amount of thought to consider that the people who commit atrocities or harm children were never, ever Christians to begin with. In fact, like you, most people don't even know what Christianity is. Do universities get to define Christianity? Do politicians get to define Christianity? No because even though they assume they can, only the bible can define Christianity.

I'll educate you on Catholicism since you know nothing about it. Catholicism is diametrically opposed to the 10 Commandments of the bible. "There shall be no other gods before Me," but Catholics venerate and worship Mary who is a created being. The 10 Commandments say, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth," yet Catholics worship and kiss the feet of statues and crucifixes. The Catholic church claims you should confess your sins to a priest, do Hail Mary's, and you can be absolved of sin. That doctrine basically contradicts Jesus's sacrifice on the cross, and supplants the Lord - who has already paid for our sins - with the Catholic establishment.

Not only that, Catholics rely on extrabiblical doctrine. Anyone who has been to a few Sunday school meetings knows the bible is the single written authority and that anything outside of it is an "anathema." Therefore, being that the bible is what defines Christianity and not the world, Catholics are not Christian because they do not follow biblical doctrine but their own proprietary, man-made doctrines.

Perhaps this can help you at least begin to consider how long you have held and cemented totally distorted beliefs. If you apply some real consideration to truth and fact, you may begin to see where you took a detour. In fact, the bible even provides a roadmap: Jesus said, "Enter in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in there." You have chosen the broad gate that the rest of the world chooses because you simply accepted ideas and came up with all kinds of beliefs without ever actually applying logic and reason. The bible says, "My people perish for a lack of knowledge." Oh how true that is.

Lastly, your speech if full of sanctimony. You not only disparage and dismiss Christiantiy out of complete ignorance, but act like somehow you're more moral and enlightened. But look at your own profane speech and foul nature. Who are you to take the moral high ground, and who are you to judge Christianity? Sorry but your conduct does not reflect morality, rather, it's reflective of a reprobate mind. So next time you put an entire population of people down as if they lack your level of morality then realize your level of morality is miles below where you think it is.

3. Orthodoxy has no Pauline roots.

Sorry about the vulgarities, I removed them from my post almost immediately. I'm so used to the old crew that I just went off. I can say though that your condescending attitude is just as or possibly more vulgar than my foul mouth. Maybe you're just a double agent trying to discourage others from participating in religion. So you thought you'd just interject your oppositional beliefs, based on complete ignorance of Christianity, even though the thread was opened to invite Christian testimonies of salvation and it's relation to their current musical pursuits?

Easter is a pagan holiday, not a biblical holiday. To you, who is entirely uneducated, Jesus is fiction. However, if you had a basic education is the sciences, history, archeology, anthropology, geology, then you would understand that it's actual historical record that's verifiable. Hebrews were the most meticulous and accurate in recording history and genealogy than any other nation in the world. Since you don't know history then you probably don't know that, or the fact that out of 10,000 + manuscripts found worldwide over thousands of years, that there is less than 1% errors - and those are hardly translation errors but essentially typos. Over 99% of bible manuscripts, no matter how far apart, agree more than 99% with each other. No other nation or culture in the world has anything remotely near that.

A couple of things you said are pretty skewed. First, you somehow decided at only 11 years old that you understood enough about Christianity and world religions that you could just dismiss it all as "superstition." Hmmf, that's not what anyone would call likely. Second, your tiny little experiences at a holiday and some church event shaped your view of Christianity and Jesus Christ even though you never once read the bible, researched biblical history, or even considered the fact that you probably weren't in a real Christian church but a fake one that's Christian in name only. Hmm, you really should develop much, much better logical reasoning.

Then you came out with this whopper, "You could tell how brainwashed the kids were, they just turned off all critical thinking, and went into total subservient mode. Fucking creepy." That's pretty pathetic considering that Christian kids are largely more literate, more informed, more considerate and thoughtful, more stable, and more logical than non-Christian kids. This is a scientific fact shown in decades of study.

So, there you were, a non-Christian kid (least likely to have the aforementioned qualities), passing judgement on them and considering them brainwashed. LOL! Do you not see how pathetic that logic is? You should go look up the term brainwashed because it's not something that can be done involuntarily even among children. Only those who voluntarily submit to brainwashing are susceptible to it. That's why legally, brainwashing is classified as "coercive," that is, forced. Unless you were in some kind of cult, churches don't coerce or brainwash anyone - especially kids since Christians are more protective and care for children better than non-Christians.

The problem is you never bothered to contemplate things. You've lived your entire life with illogical, distorted, mistaken beliefs simply because you either failed or refused to apply basic reasoning. I can see that you tried to appear polite in your post, but the fact that you posted it knowing it's not appropriate for the given topic demonstrates a negative intention conveys that your politeness is just an insipid gesture. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope you do consider some of these things and reflect on your life so perhaps you might begin to understand how you came to your beliefs in the first place.

LOL! Really? Please, show me in the bible. Isn't Jesus the true model of Christianity? Yet Jesus called people "devils," "a brood of vipers," spoke more about hell than heaven, and offended so many people with blunt truth that an entire nation wanted to kill Him for it. So please, go ahead and show how I am not a Christian. First, at least show some small degree of competence and define what a Christian is.

Perhaps you should figure out that you have to first reflect decency and moral conduct before you have any ground whatsoever to pass judgement on others. You're noxious.
