It just seems to getting worse all the time. That's like saying "this pile of shit smells worse that the rest"
Although I tend to agree with you

Have you filed any police reports? I would scour craigslist and Facebook marketplace in your surrounding areas bro. in Houston, I have seen a lot of gear show up specifically on FB market that was advertised as stolen from local musicians.Oh man, I’m sorry to hear. It’s one thing to steal $tuff but to abuse it like that is uncalled for….sorry for your loss as well!!
Whoa…… so what you are saying, without saying it, is you discovered a unique and cruel way to not only obliterate these bozos, but that you also orchestrated their demise!! You sir, are the architect of annihilation!!! Bravo sir!! Bravo!!!No. The one is dead and the other one disappeared…he just up and left town…
What??!? A guy stole stuff, and then he decided to destroy your guitar!!!??!? Do you know who did this? This guy is a lunatic of the highest order. Destroying a vintage Les Paul, by god, he must be held accountable for this egregious act.I had someone steal stuff from me in my house took a les paul custom Tobacco burst 78 and just slam it against the support beam and break the neck off.My insurance covered the valu but not the sentimental part.So sorry for your loss.
Yes, you still have guitars, that great. Thanks all, lots of great advice. At least I’m left with my guitars, a Bogner 1x12, CAE Preamp and a Fulltone Tri-Stereo unit. Gotta plan my next move. ?
Hey All, I moved to a new apt and had to put some stuff in a locked storage room in a locked cage. Well some ass hats broke in and into all the units and I lost a couple Friedman modded amps, Fryette and some rack efx and all my CD collection. I know, it can all be replaced. What I’m left with is my CAE 3+ SE, Fulltone Tri-Stereo Chorus and my Bogner 1x12 which for some reason I left in my bedroom closet as well as my guitars. Not sure where I want to go next. I live in apartment so a big amp for the 3+ won’t do me much good. I have some Event 20/20 monitors and was thinking of using those and going the Kemper route. Note: I don’t play in a band etc. Thoughts?
Thanks in Advance
The one hit some carfentynal instead of fentanyl….the other one literally left town. He was helped more than likely….probably in a shallow hole somewhere feeding raccoons and coyotes. Fuck ‘em. I don’t like thieves.Whoa…… so what you are saying, without saying it, is you discovered a unique and cruel way to not only obliterate these bozos, but that you also orchestrated their demise!! The only use for that ignorant tough guy crap isYes, you still have guitars, that great.
As far as my next move, I would initiate: operation annihilation and hire jackbootedthug to run the manhunt, recovery and punishment phase of the op. I would give him free reign to brutally kick ass and recover the stolen goods at all costs. The architect of annihilation will not be denied retribution.

I have those Air Tags in all of my gigging gear in case it “walks away”. You can get all sorts of discreet mounts for them, stick them inside of rack cases or head shells, or really anywhere. I also track a lot of my work equipment, tools, computer bags, and my dog… haha.Anyway he started putting air tags in things so that got me thinking about putting them in my cases and Amp head shells. If I had to redo my rig in an apartment. I would just get some decent monitors and use plug ins like the Neural Amp Modeler
that's horrible.I had someone steal stuff from me in my house took a les paul custom Tobacco burst 78 and just slam it against the support beam and break the neck off.My insurance covered the valu but not the sentimental part.So sorry for your loss.
how well do they work. All my problems have went away for the most part but you never know. My son's current bike is a kx450f....not cheap. Thought about putting one on it. I'm using a rotor lock with an alarm and a hidden motion detector for now.I have those Air Tags in all of my gigging gear in case it “walks away”. For me, in a decent sized city, they have been flawless. I can pull up the "find my iphone" app and all my AirTags and various other Apple devices are very accurately marked. I can set them up so that my phone gets alerts if a chosen device wanders too far from me, or if I leave it behind. So if I leave a guitar at a gig, I will know instantly, or if I'm at the bar and somehow it "walks away" from the green room/loading area, I will know. However, I am an Apple guy so if your phone is Android, I guess there's some chance for less than smooth integration, but there are comparable products like Tile out there. The AirTags operate via BlueTooth and ping off any nearby Apple device, rather than GPS or cell service, which actually ends up being much more accurate. This probabaly wouldn't be great in more rural areas, but in a city where everybody has iPhones plus other Apple devices, it's very reliable and I've never had an issue. If you iPhone you can even make it pinpoint down to the foot where something is and will use arrows to guide you to what you lose, as well as play a beeping tone if needed. It will even tell you if the elevation is different, ie the item is nearby but on a different floor than you in the same building. about 30 bucks a pop but totally worth it IMO.how well do they work.
