The story goes like this... 3 years ago I got this one from a guy in Germany and after a while I sold it to my buddy (back when prices were normal) / I got another one some months ago but I flipped it as I needed some cash. So last week I I finally got the one I'd sold to my buddy - traded my kemper for it. Here it is!
New 10 52 strings D tuning with the stock EMGs. I've been thinking of swapping em with some passive ones but not really sure which ones I might be getting.
Maybe the Dimebucker - never tried it but it looks sick

That’s an awesome JR Strat you’ve got there.

I picked up my mint JR Jazzmaster in a pawnshop for a CRAZY low price a couple of years ago.

It’s a great guitar that sounds and plays amazingly well.

I’ve got one too! Excellent guitar. I swapped the EMGs out for Tone Nerd Wicked 8 and it sounds outstanding!

81/60 I'm pretty sure. I've almost bought the parts to put one of these together off of Stratosphere multiple times. I put a different guitar together that looks very similar but is a poplar body and I had a roasted neck built by Parklane for it. Currently have the Daemonum pickup set in it which are cool but I might prefer that standard 81/60.

sounds great.!! I have wanted a JR strat or jazzmaster for years and have sat back while prices have gone up. Sigh
