I picked up this Charvel Fusion a few months ago, and it's been sitting on the back burner of guitar projects ever since I got it. The electronics are all jacked up, and the neck humbucker has a dead coil. I reached out to Dave at Frets on the Net to get one of the oversized humbucker rings made for the bridge, and decided to have him make two of them thinking that I might route the neck position for another humbucker and wanted the rings to match.
What say you? Double full size humbuckers or stay with the single coil in the neck? All honestly, I'll probably end up selling it eventually as it's short scale (24.75") and 24 frets so I don't know if making it a dual full size humbucker will hurt it when/if I go to resell it. Doesn't leave much real estate between the pickups for those of us that tend to pick deep and hit stuff under the strings.
