Well yes but also concentrate on free refills, donuts, JIF, Dr. Pepper, Hostess Twinkies and sitting on arses during COVID. Guns are a leading cause of death in younger people in US. I doubt it's the case here. I was being "mostly" humorous and highlighting differences between here and there. However the thing about humour is many a truth told in jest... so there is an element of truth as well.

It's actually the other way around. I have almost zero interest in them other than total bemusement with the wild west over there.

Saying we're fixated on guns coming from someone in the gun capital of the world is beyond ridiculous.

If you said I'm fixated on the gun fixation of people in the US it would have been more accurate.

Well you of all people would know nearly no one is interested in guns in Australia. Australians really are bemused at the gun culture in the US and that's the honest truth. No trolling involved. Also I can remember before they were "over regulated" here. So it's not like I'm some millennial who can't remember what it used to be like.

It's not trolling to think that gun culture in the US is beyond ridiculous. No other western country carries on about them all the time like them. They are fruitcakes.
 
And then when there is some new shooting which happens hundreds of times every day you get another thread like this. Excuse me for being tired of their absolute bullshit all the time. They should shut the f up about their guns - or stick them up their arse.

There's been a history of claims at another site that we employ peeps to create fake accounts and troll, and this member's insinuated in the past that this is the case, hence my tongue-in-cheek joke.

It was effectively an inside joke and I did hope that you might've got it, but of course I knew that only perhaps half the peeps here would've, and besides that it wasn't directed at you.
