So what’s the real story?
lol says the guy who claims to be as informed as I am on the topic.

The tech isn’t lost, it’s just old and doesn’t make sense to spend the time to recreate. The goal isn’t to simply put men on the moon like it was the first time, it’s to do it better and long term and that’s why they are getting so much equipment up there, with lots more to come.

I’ve seen it compared to Apple which I think is good. They COULD remake the iPhone 1 if they wanted to, but why? It would also probably cost more than making a new one.

First, I was talking about the telemetry and original space footage. But I believe they lost some "tech" as well. Your analogy is more like, "We could remake the iPhone 1, but this iPhone is way more high tech, it just doesn't work as well."

Give me one example of tech that is 50 years old that has "evolved" to be LESS capable. The whole story is so stupid.

They haven’t lost any tech.

I like this video because the little girl reminds me of you a bit lol

Just has a hard time landing straight or even getting there at all?

lol un-crewed missions have always been difficult with varying success rates, even in the 60s.
Having them land autonomously is pretty new though

The dude said they destroyed the technology. He didn't say we don't have factories to build it. And we could easily manufacture the original cell phones, but there is no reason to. What a buncha BS :ROFLMAO: ... But is long as their exists some "Explanation" some people will always believe.

That's deflection. The give away is you never to say why. Maybe I'm wrong but my reasoning is legit and you know it. But you won't admit it because you're emotionally invested in your belief.

It’s not deflection. I just think the things you say are hilarious. I don’t care to convince you of anything, and if you think your ideas are so reasonably sound, then it’s pretty clear that nothing would convince you anyways. YOUR ignorance is not MY problem.

If you ever decide you want to actually learn about this stuff, you can go back and read my posts to get you started, but until then I’m just having fun with it because it is absolutely absurd lol.

I’m not trying to convince you either. I’m just fascinated by watching how you handle the cognitive dissonance. Like I said, the give away is the ad hominem, the defensiveness, etc. I keep telling you it’s not irrational to accept the moon story, but it looks increasingly ridiculous to watch you explain away all the anomalies and inconsistencies, not to mention the fantastical nature of the story itself.

There’s nothing hilarious about being skeptical of lost tech, lost footage, lost telemetry data, stars that were visible, then not (or the other way around), converging shadows, Mylar and duct tape, forgotten switches, 60 million dollar go karts, space sets, and so on. AND THAT NO ONE HAS BEEN ABLE TO GO BACK FOR OVER FIFTY YEARS.

Let's just hope he continues with the cigarette and alcohol regimen.
