And while I appreciate people sharing personal stuff, you have to recognize it will probably get thrown back at you at some point, so don't make it too personal. I was kidding about you being dropped, it was just one of those easy shots you have to take, no real insult intended. We're good. And I know you mean well too talking up the fake moon landings, fake space companies and so on.

I don’t really take it “personal” per se in the sense that she knows fuck all about me or my family.
But just because you share that you have a family doesn’t mean it’s ok for people use them in arguments against you because they didn’t like something you said. It’s their prerogative to do so, but It’s sort of psychotic isn’t it?
It’s certainly not something someone who deserves a shred of respect would do. I don’t report it because it’s her life choice, and I don’t return it, because I don’t want to have to live with being that kind of person.

It's been known for decades that the speed of light can vary tremendously; it's even been halted under specific conditions.
The mean trajectory of speed estimates since it was first measured has been one of slowing down, something that might be a result of entropy IMHO.
Your point was partly about calculating the size of the universe, something that's fraught with problems once one realises that the SoL is not in fact a constant.

One of the crowing achievements of my childhood was when me and my homie both bought super soakers. I got the 200 and he got the 150. We decided to experiment. I put his 150 water tank where the small pressure tank was on the back of my 200. PUMP PUMP PUMP PUMP.....I got about 30 pumps in and was like "one more" and I pumped it and the whole back end of my rifle exploded and blew back about ten feet, soaking both of us. He cracked up laughing then he went to retrieve his water tank off the broken section and it had about a six inch rupture on it. He had this look on his face like I had pissed in his cheerios cause he blew a whole roll of electrical tape blacking his gun out. My mom worked returns at Target so he peeled the tape off and we both took them in and got our money back as defective. One of my more grievous sins.

Sometimes distances are calculated using Cepheid Variable stars because they assume they emit a standard amount of light. Then you can calculate the distance to them knowing that. LOL. Unfortunately, he was hit and killed walking home drunk trying to cross the highway In Tahoe on the 4th of July in '97. Got arrested the night before for minor consumption and weed. Mom bailed him out so he could go to work and he went out drinking again and was killed. We were like brothers. Gotta roll. Catch you later.
