Has anyone of you a Hermansson Mesa Dual Rectifier Multi Watt?
There's one available near me. Asking Price is 2799.-
I want to get some opinions, or better, clips, if possible.

I didn’t have the multi watt but I owned a 3 channel Hermansson mod. I still have a 2 channel which is more versatile because it has a designated tight knob and it’s preset on the 3 channel.

With that said that price is great. The price to ship and mod is very steep. If you like the sound in henric’s videos the amp is true to that. Very tight. Very fast. Still has amazing play feeling. Does clean to mean. But again, modern. It does not sound like a recto. It has its own thing going on. But pure metal machine. Not hyper thick though.

Rebuild price is 1250 with no extra features and doesn’t include shipping both ways. Plus amp cost.

At that good of a price I'd say just go for it. I haven't tried one with a Multi Watt donor, but had a Hermansson single recto, Rev G Dual and still have my Triple Rev F one and they all to me were killer. I like them more than his Marshall 5GS's I've had and tried. More character to the tone imo than his 5GS's and imo nicer feel

Just grab it . Grab any Hermanson . Just know his recto needs some weird eqs if you want to sound normal . But it’s so original some find it weird and hard to tame , . It’s so good

Mine was very fizzy. So modern and tight it was impossible to almost play anything but meshyggah type music

Although a rev f

It is laying there for some time. Price is not bad, it is like used Recto + 1200E for Hermansson modding but proper boost for 100E make it as good as modded one. What is the reasson to bought an recto and want to sound like different amp ? :)

You’re not buying a recto, that’s the point actually. Add shipping and stuff, and you understand that price is great.

Also multiwatts ain’t that cheap, are they?

Thanks guys. You made good points - in both directions. :)
I'm still undecided though...

Actually it is. How do you know?

2799.-€ is like the used price a few years ago, + modding. But a Case is also included.

I am from EU too :)
I listened the example and stock recto is set to worst example of muffled sound and on puprose to make his mod 'shine'. Multiwatt Red/modern channel with dimed presence knob sound much more like his modded recto than this. The modded one trimmed so much low end so it is basically 5150/EVH amp. Every modding or amp designing is about compromises. You want lower mid recto grunt or tighness of EVH, You cannot got both.
I understand moding older Marshalls because donor old transformers are what makes them great but want to mod recto ? It is just wrong amp choice and wasted money :)

That was meant for bubucci. I thought multiwatts are pretty pricey new, do they lose so much on resale?

Kinda scratchy, isn't it?

Might give that impression. Actually think Meshuggah level tightness. At least that’s what I heard people say. Never tried one myself.

Getting a Multiwatt and let Henric do the mod on that one will be more expensive and take a lot of time. If you want a modded one, get it now.
the result should be the same with any Rectifier, at least this is what Hernic claims. And the Multiwatt will give you the most options of all Rectifiers

Yes, i know. I answered you anyway. I think i paid around 1400 for a used Dual Multi and 1500 for the Multiwatt Triple a few years ago.

I just stumbled across it and wanted some opinoins.I liked the Triple more when i had it. The Dual falls apart when you turn it up. Well, i will see. If i'm not to lazy i will check the Amp out. It's a 2 hour ride each way.
