I was more of a Ghostbusters, GI Joe, and Ninja Turtles kinda guy as far as toys. Though I loved a ton of 80s cartoons, I always seemed to get those 3 toy lines. Then I grew up and switched over to Atari, NES, SNES, and TurboGrafx.

Had a Chinese friend that had all those Asian originating toys.

He had all the Go Ranger, as he called them before they came to the U.S.. And he also had all those fist shooting Asian fist shooting robot toys.

I remember when Star Wars came out, that was like the Holy Shit moment of my use. No millennium falcon though

About the only thing I have left in the attic is one of these. Most of my pre teen toys met an untimely death when I discovered pot and gasoline and matches when I was a teen.

The neighborhood I lived in was in close proximity to a skating rink that also did rock concerts. Journey, Nugent, Dr. Hook, ZZ top all played there. When I was about 5 I can remember throngs of long haired, bell bottomed teenagers walking through the neighborhood to go see Nugent. When I became a long haired, bell bottomed teenager I was tasked by Dr. Hook to go to a local music store and buy the cheapest guitar they had for them to smash on stage there. An older dude from the hood hooked up with Journey there and roadied for them for a long time.

First time I smoked weed I was 9. First time I got laid I was 11. It was my 16 year old babysitter.

I liked the 70s a lot.

I saw uncle Ted and Kiss, can't remember what year, or where, LOL. I sprinkled rat poision in my weed becasue I was sick of my friends always smoking it. I was the only one that ever had weed. I told them it had rat poison in it, and they still smoked it. I did also. Probably why I don't remember that concert.
