Ok so honestly, could you tell where the breaks are in the first segment? Hearing with your eyes is pretty common. Let me know in the comments. I wanted to see if I could tell a difference on the mic between two guitars that couldn't be more different- an ESP Hanneman, NTB, alder, EMG 81 vs. a Les Paul Custom '68 RI, mahogany with a maple cap and '68 Custom PUPs. While these two guitars give a different experience in the room, would it matter in a mix??I used my most expressive amp- my Mesa Mark IIC++ on the rhythm channel, as well as my most expressive cab- my Marshall 1960TV loaded with Greenbacks. Also chose a mid-gain riff to help keep it dynamic. All mic'd with an E609 and double tracked L/R.
