I don't think I have the attention span to read the entire thread so I'll just say that most of these ICE raids are going after criminals that are here illegally. Not sure what else they are supposed to wear/bring with them?

that could very well be true. I entered the thread to talk about some recent raids in and near my home town, and I am quite confident those being snatched were not criminals.

But aside from that, what I took offense to was how the raids took place. I don’t remember if it was this thread or some other ignorant ass thread, but my attempt was to make people realize the discrepancy between the severity of the “crime” and the severity of the apprehension. (Also that there is a difference civil and criminal law)

Unsurprisingly it fell on deaf and dumb ears, and turned into every other thread I participate in here where a few quiffs take one word from a post I make, go off on some random rage tangent, post a link to a study or data sheet that they didn’t bother reading because the data actually agrees with my point and not theirs (happens every damn time), and then resort to lame ass bait posts or jokes so that the peanut gallery can get their jollies.
Anyways the point I never had a chance to get to was that being a cheerleader for these raids now, is opening the door for the authorities to do the same to actual US citizens for any number of crimes. The sheep are getting easier to herd.

Do you really need me to list examples of feds in full gear raiding American citizens ? How about that preacher that got into a shoving match with some pussy hat at a vag vac clinic and had federal agents in riot gear with military rifles kick his door in in the middle of the night and scare the fuck out of his wife and little kids ?

Or the Airport director who was shot to death by ATF agents in the middle of the night after they put tape on his cameras and then kicked his fucking door in?
