Murdered.
I'm sure you've seen the video. What do you think should have happened in that situation?
I see it as an unnecessary tragedy. But, I can understand the rationale of the use of force in that moment.

Really ? That cop should be in prison.I'm sure you've seen the video. What do you think should have happened in that situation?

Use the reasonable man standard. The same standard you or I would be judged by if we shot an unarmed person. And an unarmed small woman at that.Okay. So, what should have been done differently? How should he, or any cop, react when there were a dozen people trying to break into a secure, barricaded area where lawmakers were being actively evacuated? I think you have to fill in that part if the use of force was not warranted.

Cops are held to a higher standard dude.Do cops operate under a reasonable man standard or qualified immunity? I think those are different.
Babbit was not visibly armed in that moment, but how was that cop to know that she wasn't concealing a weapon or a bomb, or the dozen plus people behind her? Any of them could have had concealed weapons with the intent to do harm. And, they were actively trying to break into a clearly barricaded area. To me, that offers a reasonable justification of the use of force. I'm not saying I like that. I hate it. She threw her life away over nothing.
That sounds like a blessing and a curse at the same time.I have no clue what the guy's IQ is. I can tell you this. My wife is genius level IQ. Like the youngest member of Mensa in the state at the time ( 6 years old) Spent one day in kindergarten and graduated high school at 15 only because she refused to move up into the same grade as her sister who is 3 years older than her. That doesn't mean she makes good decisions. And she is a supreme pain in my ass. She is smoking hot and will roof my house and do all the plumbing and shit. I forgot my point. Oh yeah, just because you're not retarded don't mean you ain't a retard.![]()

Exactly. She has to tell me the best and most efficient and effective way to do EVERYTHING. Bitch, I’m just cleaning the window not building the Taj Mahal. That sounds like a blessing and a curse at the same time.
You have absolutley no fucking clue what you are talking about. Understandable, most sheeple don't. But maybe it's best to just stop the internet speculations and try and regain some credibility.Do cops operate under a reasonable man standard or qualified immunity? I think those are different.

It must be hard to hide presents or surprise parties, I am sure she picks up every detail.Exactly. She has to tell me the best and most efficient and effective way to do EVERYTHING. Bitch, I’m just cleaning the window not building the Taj Mahal.

By your faulty logic they could have opened fire on all of them. How do you think that would have went over ?

Yes they are.Not any more.
Badly. What would have happened if the cop let all those nutjobs through? They were trying to break into a secured area.
Yes they are.
And pretty much the same thing that did happen. Killing Babbitt didn’t alter anyone else’s behavior.
That’s called lack of training. Cops are absolutely not trained to shoot people in the shoulder. This ain’t a movie dude. That cop was in no condition mentally to deal with the rigors of, well, being a cop. And if he was white he would have lost his badge at a minimum.Shooting Babbit absolutely did. All those other people with her immediately stopped trying to break through that barricade. Watch the video and judge for yourself. It's not like the cop even went for a clean kill. He shot her in the shoulder. That's restraint.
Care to expound on this? Not any more.
Was no breach. Just a "percieved threat"Badly. What would have happened if the cop let all those nutjobs through? They were trying to break into a secured area.
From a training standpoint? You absolutely do not fire into a crowd of unarmed people if you cannot articulate immediate lethal threat. That's firearms 101 let alone LE training,or lack of in this case, it seems. I'm not going to Monday morning quarterback any more than that because I wasn't there. But had that been a white officer shooting a black "insurrectionist"What should have been done differently?
