Yes, i did put the pics in somebody's thread but wanted to post it here.

This post is not to win-over nor incite debate, simply sharing my blessing and my joy.
This one I scored from Dave's in WI, and though it left the factory on 5/19/25 (I have the COA), it was listed as "Used- EXCELLENT".
It arrived promptly on 7/3, and I was floored when I unboxed it. Not one mark own the OEM HSC. Opening the case, I was stunned. It was even BETTER than the posted pics represented. Not one ding, impression, swirl, scratch. NOTHING. It's truly as-new.

The weight is a back-friendly 7.8 pounds. Freshly strung with 10's. It sings, sustains and does everything a good Les Paul is supposed to & easily bests my last Gibson Historic R8, in every way. Build quality, detail, fretwork, etc. It also seems like Heritage has heard the requests/complaints of players in asking for bigger frets. This one has medium-jumbo frets, and they are so nicely seated and PLEK'd. The 225 pickups- welp at this point I hear NOTHING to complain about. Oh BTW, the Heritage headstock that so many complain about, IS an older GIBSON headstock shape that they borrowed. I'm truly CHUFFED as my Brit friends would say.

Here's a few dealer pics from the listing below:

Thanks, peeps! The top is magnificent and looks better and different in person. Plus you get to see some "movement" as you move it around under lighting. But it wouldn't mean a thing if it sounded horrible. I'm more than pleased in how it sounds.

Some of the curiosities of its grain patten and that its not a straight-figured "BBQ flame" top, nor a Quilt. (not that there's anything wrong with those- I've owned both as well as "Flilt" Flame/Quilt combo).

One thing I like, is there is no Aniline Dye bleed onto the binding- not on the neck OR body, and the finishing its far more seamless, and ridge-less in the transition from binding to wood. WhIle not 100% perfect in that regard as you can feel a light transition in spots of the bound body, it's far better than my R8 Historic was...and considering its two entirely different materials (plastic/wood) instead of wood/wood or bare edges like a PRS, that can be expected. It's also not chambered/weight relieved, the Custom Shop Core line usually gets lighter woods selected.

The tuners seem to work very well. Fretwork is superb. Inlays in the fretboard very well done and it's a nice slice of rosewood. I'll nitpick it and treat it with FretDoctor as soon as I need to re-string it. It has fresh D'Addario 10's on it.

What I don't care for: the Heritage pickguard. I know how to cure that. But there may (or may not) have the LP selector surround added. Right now in the admitted honeymoon phase, I really don't want to make any changes, and just play that thang.

FWIW, as I'm plotting my next rig, we have onhand the Atomic AmpliFire 12 running into a Headrush 12" FRFR. I was playing a few melodies on the AF12's "Deluxe Man" preset on the neck pickup and my dad of 89 yrs was stunned in how rich (and yet clear) it sounded. And he wondered what I was playing. I'll take that as a pretty good compliment. hehe

Beautiful.

I was watching the used section on their site daily for a while, hoping to find one half as nice.

It is beautiful. I'm not sure I could bond with the headstock myself though.

Congrats bro. I bet it's killer.

No. As I understand it, they use ultra lightweight mahogany (non-chambered). But I will say this one is one of the lighter ones I’ve seen lately.
