What did I miss, Von banned?

It's only like a one day "go sit in the naughty corner" ban mate. He backchatted the mods - so fair play.
 
Stemmed from all the images he was posting back to back. MonkeyMan gave him a warning that it was bad forum etiquette. VB got uppity about it and disrespected MM. So he got a 1 day time out. Maybe he'll be pissy about the ban and not come back; that would be nice.
 
I’m bummed this happened to Von. Words were clearly exchanged, and I can’t begin to imagine moderating this place, so I have no qualms with Monkey’s decision.

But he mentioned that Von’s posts were reported to him as well which is pretty disappointing.
Maybe I’m wrong and it was just a Rig Talk Good Samaritan reporting something that was against the rules, but based on my forum experience it was probably some pussy with a chip on his shoulder that reported him because they can’t control their own emotions on the internet. That’s some gear page shit right there.

Anyways, I hope this doesn’t affect his future here long term

Just for the record, i didn't report shit.
It happened in my thread and all i did was delete some posts and started posting pics back in response. Which wasn't very mature i'll admit but i didn't know what else to do.
I didn't rat.

Unfortunately, not everyone can read a thread without feeling the need to comment.
Some need to stay out of threads they know will upset them. Especially in OTC.
Reporting someone for something you should just bypass and move on from is weak.

And I think there is an ignore button. :unsure:

I don't think warnings from a mod should be ignored if it gets that far...

I found it kind of annoying, but I just quit looking and checked out another thread.
No wonder I didn't know what had transpired.

It may have been reported for spamming, but MM seems to monitor the hallway pretty well. As may pics as VB spammed across several threads it would have stuck out like a sore thumb anyway.

I kinda forgot that he had started another thread that was also pic heavy
