One thing I've noticed about Noodle Warz...it is full of noodles, lighthearted ribbing, brotherhood, and dubbel kreem neo soul references. It seems much friendlier than other threads in the past asking for submissions.

Doesest thee throw down the gauntlet
That definitely qualifies for noodles. Interesting phrasing and licks, I enjoyed it. Sounds like something someone driving a vintage Jaguar would listen to on a nice overcast Sunday afternoon along the coast.
Thanks, appreciate it. With that scenery in mind, now it makes sense post fact. Instead of Guthrie, it's a track off the [Third worldie's] West Coast Grooves but I drove over a big pothole hence the choked bend in the middle lol.

Here's my absolutely original, copyright free noodle on that track:

@Matt300ZXT I hope you don't mind me copping that lick in one of your posts it was really cool.

@Dan Gleesak Nice playing. Does the Strandberg stay in tune after that vibrato dump at the end? I see it's the zero fret version. My cheap changberg has a nut before the headless stringlock and the tuning does go wonky after whang abuse, wonder if it's better on the real deal.

I was listening and I was like what is he talking about? I don't remember playing anything like that. Then I was like oh...there it is lol

I'm actually particularly proud of that lick, it's a total banger. But I'm TOTALLY hitting you with a copyright strike now! I hope you have a good lawyer! :ROFLMAO:

These are cool, sick playing man. Very fluid and efficient movements. How did you get there? Is it the Shawn Lane school of blaze it and clean it up later, or the general incrementally bumping up the metronome approach? Not just in those clips but in general. Nice Rite of Spring at the end, probably the only lick I can nick lol.
So much sauce and pasta on these noodles I'm gonna have to use a spoon

The strandberg is pretty rock solid man. I’ll try and record some new stuff soon, but this is an older clip for a “challenge” to do as many tricks as you can in a minute. Decent amount of whammy usage

I did the small increments when I was younger, then the burn and clean the mess later.
But what got me the furthest in the shortest time was when I started worrying about my wonky time and straightened that.
Especially weird shit.
Which fixed the being able to play 16th triplets easy with 3 NPS patterns but going to hell with 2 NPS.

Also learning some lines that are less linear like cross picking over 6 strings instead of sweeping.

And messing with the Gypsy Jazz thing of when going to a lower string while leaving the higher string on a downstroke continuing on the lower with a downstroke.

Thanks for the tips man. Tried the etude with the economy picking but it's still a disaster at bar 25 onwards :
Having trouble at accenting it as fours. I've been shedding at it for days and shed more hair than notes, need a break and come back to it later lest I eat my {chocolate} gun from frustration lol.

I grabbed that Cm backing track from your other thread last night and figured I’d stretch outside my normal Emin/Dmin noodling for once. Couldn’t airdrop the vid into Logic to add the audio to the video for some reason- Bombed a good run towards the middle and end before calling it quits

The groove of the drum track maybe? Not enough 2-5-1's. I think pedophilia neo soul is a mishmash of rnb-soul-fusion-hiphop lite. TBH even though I'm new here and ignorant of the board culture I think they're just taking the piss of the genre. Probably just meme-ing about it with non neo soul stylistic playing and doing their own thing (which I am too, not throwing shade at anyone). Though some of the presented backing tracks to be noodled over are of or close to the genre. So partial credit for the chill vibe, it's a cool track regardless. Do come and join the playoffs, there's been a dearth of clips lately and there are other threads with other tracks and playing posted as well.

But maybe I am answering a rhetorical question at face value like an autist. I'm kinda retarded. :poop:
