I found this on their rack, pure unobtainium, or so I thought @$3499. Light, resonant, beautiful. She barks. So i axe the salesman about what he can do. He took it to the front and scanned it. Turns out it was on clearance for a lot less. I mean A LOT LESS. Like the cheapest price of any open box or used ES335 lacquer gloss in the country. @sandman and @JohnnyGtar thanks for the prayers bros, they worked! Im happy deep in my neo soul tonite!

Thanks Sandman! Spent a couple nights tossing and turning thinking about how I could swing this. Well, gotta sell a couple guitars now, lol, but after trying a pile of guitars in the store (and my wife bringing home a PRS SE for me that I made her return, lol) I realized that for gigs I'll never get past the 335s. So there it is. I have two ES', two Twins, set for life. I'll try to get some better pics up tomorrow.

That doesn't look like a 594.
A PRS will definitely be next on the list for a jam and couch guitar if I can't hang onto my Edwards LP. I was blown away by how nice that SE Custom 24 was. I actually love the wide-thin neck as much as any neck I've ever tried but for gigs I'm stuck in ES-ville eternally until PRS makes me a Golden Sky 335.

Oh man I bet that thing rips and sings!
They had five or six different ES types in the store including ,a Joe Bonamassa Epi ES355, a nice looking pelham blue for 3k used and a 5k trini lopez model with the inline 6 headstock. They were all more money (cept the Epi) but by comparison they were dead sounding. This one has that nice bark to it and is nice n loud acoustically. My Edwards ES is really close but she needs fret work and a new ES-A168 has been running close to 2k. I got this open-box Gibson for cheaper than you can find a red gloss lacquer ES used anywhere in the country right now. Imagine that.

Sweet axe bruh
You need to appoint a neo-soul competition king for this week since Anonymouse seems to have absconded. I'm inclined to say Fusionbear cause he's laid out some really nice stuff the past couple weeks.

Marty McFly would be proud.
Not sure if you caught it but Gibson has the dude who played "Marvin Berry" in the movie calling for people to find where that particular 345 used in the movie went. Apparently it was borrowed or bought for movie use and then sold and disappeared someplace. It was on X, Gibson is looking for that guitar.

What's better than a killer guitar? Getting a great deal on it as well :P That is just one of the best feelings!
