Really stoked about this. I have been looking for this pedal for a long time after learning that it was used on Rammstein's break out song, "Du Hast".

It's pretty clean and I got it for a good price. I don't have a guitar processor anymore, but I am thinking of jamming with other musicians again for sh*t and giggles.

Most of all, I'm looking to play my ESP RZK-II through it. I think Paul Landers uses a Gibson, which I don't have, but I think the rig will sound massive.

I am a big fan of Tech 21 stuff, I would love to check one of these out. What pedal did he use on Du Hast, the GT2? @Techdeth we have some Du Hast content in here fyi

Same here bro'.

My PSA-1 back n the '90s was the bee's knees. Used it for "everything" including beefing up EDM kick drums.

Became a "fan" due to that thing alone.

Recorded a rock band back in the day that used a Bass Driver DI and the tone, bottom end and punch that dude got was epic.

Last year, or maybe 2023? I picked up a Tech21 PSA 2.0 because nostalgia.

Back in the day I had a PSA 1.1 rack unit. The PSA 2.0 is very accurate to how I remember the 1.1; adding a small IR pedal - like a Valeton GP-5 - it's a very compact versatile direct amp rig that would compete with other modern options IMO.

Finally got the chance to try my buddy's Dug Pinnick Fly Rig the other day - soooo good

My son got one about 5 years back. It's probably my favorite bass tone. It just sits in a heavy mix SO well. He used it for a more subdued pop gig a few weeks back. The sound engineer was saying how it was "way too much grit" during warm-ups before they got started, but after the rest of the musicians came in, the guy was raving about how it seemed to glue the drums to the acoustic, electric guitars and piano.

Hell yeah! We were running it in to the FX return of a triple rec going in to a Carvin Legacy 4x12 which I'm sure is not ideal but it still sounded amazing haha
