If this is anywhere near accurate...count me in. 4 channel Ecstasy with additional gain stage? Yes and yesFrom knob placement in the video, and seeing the gain on that sound is around 1pm, channel 4 looks like it'll be somewhere between green and blue, gain-wise. Assuming his guitar volume is wide-open of course.
Pure speculation of course but, I'd not be surprised if channel 4 turns out to be that additional gain stage on red applied on green instead of blue, and sharing the eq with green.
Like:
channel 1/green - clean
channel 4/purple? - clean + gain stage
channel 2/blue - lead
channel 3/red - lead + gain stage
On the 101B - if you run a patch cable from the loops output to its input, this adds a gain stage to all channels when turning the loop on. The master volume on the back of the amp is also superb at controlling volume and this setup allows one to crank channel volume to taste..all at bedroom volumes. It’s a great trick w/the xtc.If this is anywhere near accurate...count me in. 4 channel Ecstasy with additional gain stage? Yes and yes
That’s what I do with mine tooOn the 101B - if you run a patch cable from the loops output to its input, this adds a gain stage to all channels when turning the loop on. The loop on the 101b is a very effective control on the amp. You can achieve a lot with it!On the 101B - if you run a patch cable from the loops output to its input, this adds a gain stage to all channels when turning the loop on. Got my 100b back from my tech. All new tubes, caps and ribbon cable redone with shielded wire as the connectors were done. Basically brand new now & it sounds so good to me at least
