I had one with the ldr issue and swore of tremoverbs, no matter how potentially good they can sound. What a nightmare that was.

I did two Mesa traditional straight 4x 12s. it was both doable and a PITA. It took longer than expected but I was mostly happy with the results at the time. Not worth doing if your grill cloth is intact, IMO. Mine had a few tears on it. It will probably not come out as good as a factory...

Take the tube covers off the preamp tubes and the grill that goes over the power tubes off. problem solved. no more buzz.

I don’t remember scooping mids because I never added them in the first place. What an ugly sound they make for an electric guitar.

I have had this problem with about 5 mesa cabs. Those jacks wear out and begin affecting the cab impedance. The problem is that the sound can cut out and you can run your tube head without a load, possibly causing damage to your head. To fix it, I just put a mono jack on the 8 ohm input...

A microphone to “compliment” the 57? I can do that without another mic: “57, you are sexy and and you sound good. you got it going on”.

the axe fx is to blame. sounds like plastic

restring the guitar. only leave 2 inches of string above the tuner. the string should wrap around the tuner with only 2 or 3 turns. more than that will cause tuning issues. cut the 4th string excess lenght. take that piece of excess string and run it up and down the 3rd string slot...

plus questioning the seller’s price in the sale thread is against the rules of the forum.
