Got my first chance to plug into the new Marshall SL5 combo. I was pretty impressed with the tone coming out of this 5 watter. Liked that it had a 1 watt switch as well. Would have loved to have seen an effects loop on this as well. Has anyone had a chance to compare this amp with the 5 watt...
It didnt cost me anything and I didnt order it either, they just sent it to me? I think it was complimentary to past customers. Im sure theyd ship one out if you requested it.
Got my cable in the mail a couple of days ago and am gonna try it out this weekend. Love the idea, well see how well it does. And I love the idea of trying out pickups this way as mentioned above!
Just heard some clips and it seems like what I could use right now. Thought the clips were pretty decent in the high gain department for a little 5 watt amp. Would love to have a tube amp I could crank at home and not disturb the neighbors with. Kinda wished it had an effects loop. Was...
Would love suggestions for the smallest, low wattage, clean amp that loves pedals? Preferably a combo tube amp. Interested in something perhaps under 15 watts? Ive amassed an assortment of nice pedals so am looking for something to use around the house that likes fuzz and distortion plus all...
Thanks guy's for all the input. You know how it is when you wanna try something bad that you can never find. Im trying to convince myself I dont need to spend another $3000, so thanks for reminding me that I have all that I need. And whatever tone the Cornford can provide, I have something...
Has anyone had a chance to play one? Are there any comparisons between the Cornford and say PT 100? Im actually hoping someone will tell me that what I have or have owned blows the Cornford away and that it's just a bad case of gas that will pass...lol!
I have an Afwayu inbound for a Custom Shop Fender strat with Floyd Rose. It currently has a Duncan 59 in the bridge and it to sounds too thin with my amps and gear. Ill let you know how it goes. Im hoping it too will beef up the guitar.
$450 is a steal. Especially when they sell those Spiders new for about that. I bought my Vetta combo with floor board many, many years ago for $1000 and I never sold it cause its great at getting good tones at bedroom volumes and fun to tweak.
