I’ve paired one of these with an Orange Pedal baby with two 1x12’s for gigging, and it rips. I feel guilty using it instead of my Rectoverb, but I like it much better.
I stay pretty much on the blue (rythym) channel for high gain stuff and use the lead channel for low/med gain stuff the few...
If those are scratches, no big deal. It's going to get scratched soon enough. But is that a crack in the cover in the photo? If so, send it back. There's potential for that to grow imho.
Do it! I'm playing in a cover band (later in life) and love it. Know there are a shit-ton of killer fucking 1x12 combo's out there.
Don't need a 4x12 and head bro. Club owners don't stand for that shit anymore.
Digital effects don't keep their value because there's always something better coming out.
As far as the market goes I see the same crap being listed over and over on my local craigslist at 90% of new cost. These jokers just keep re-listing, so some morons must be occasionally biting. SMFH
I recently picked up a Rectoverb 25 combo as a grab-n-go, and I can't believe how much easier it is to dial in a decent sound compared to the Dual Recto I had back in the late 90's (or maybe it was early 2000's).
The Legacy sounds over-priced ...........and it potentially has problems. I would avoid.
Not a big Archon fan. I had the 50 combo and I just couldn't bond with it. It had a dull/lifeless quality about it.
Based on your requirements I would possibly look into a rectoverb 25. They are loud...
