OK, late posting this, but I finally ordered it. 50 watt head with the ‘76 mod. Ordered with bright cap defeat push/pull. 16 week build time. Still deciding on keeping EL34’s or having him do 6550’s.

Just one Orange amp left now, a TremLord. Very nice amp. As everyone has already stated, it is very American amp based/sounding.

I have the EVH 4X12 with the Celestion EVH speakers. It is a great sounding cab. Good luck with your project.

I did a search looking for reviews and opinions on Rockitt’s ‘76 modded amp before posting this. Those of you that have a Rockitt amp, can you give me an opinion on build quality and sound? I am particularly interested in anyone that has his ‘76 mod. How close to a 2203 100 watt, or 2204 50...

I know what you mean, I went to My Les Paul and there wasn’t much talk about Strats, or Teles, or Charvels! All they talk about are Les Pauls at My Les Paul. I‘m going over to Strat Talk now and discuss Reverend guitars.
