It's not nonscence at all. I bought a brand new mesa mk5 35w head that I thought was going to be the greatest thing. No matter what I did and even took it to jam with the cover band I was in. I never lived with it and it felt extremely stiff and sterile under my fingers. I was really disappointed

I enjoyed that interview very much. Watched it in a few parts over the course of last week. I admire Kirk and his career, I see nothing to critique, just admire.
The guy's resume speaks for itself and is one of the biggest in the entire buisness, yet people who the rest of the world have never...
Nice!! Yeah, that's about dead on. Lots of extra harmonies and notes AJFA style. As much as I love that album, it really lacked the brutalz of its predecessor. The bottom literally fell out with Cliffs passing. I'll always say its the last decent Metallica album.
Agree. But he's trying to make a living as well. He will try and sell any piece of gear and I cant blame him for it i guess. I said this about ho. At least 10 years ago on this site and got crucified lol. I couldn't care less honestly.
I had almost the same experience. I also brought mine to jam and it was just how you said, overly bright with no dynamics, just very underwhelming. My 5153 put way more smiles on my face than the mesa. Shame because I really wanted that amp to be my number 1.
